Backsound technology

For many years Backsound has been at your service as the supplier of leading hardware and software for (background) music in the Netherlands. We owe this position to the high-quality products we supply at a competitive price. On top of that, we provide all our customers with excellent service. By developing adequate and advanced technology ourselves, we can respond to every (music) need in the market. Our most recent development, for example, is the Backsound Remote App. With this handy app, your smartphone or iPad can be used as a remote control to operate all your Backsound hardware.

Hospitality music in a restaurant

Do you own a restaurant? Then you know better than anyone that every restaurant needs background music. A good song not only creates a pleasant atmosphere in your restaurant, it also makes people spend more. Guests stay seated longer when good music is playing. Then dessert after the meal is certainly not skipped; instead, guests happily stay for a few more cups of coffee or tea. Backsound’s music systems provide the perfect hospitality music. Also pay some extra attention to the volume of the music. People must be able to have a comfortable conversation over the music, so it should not be experienced as disturbing, but it must also be loud enough to be clearly audible. With Backsound’s handy remote system, you can easily set the volume from your smartphone.

Setting the mood in the pub

In your pub, too, the mood is only really set with a good song. During the day you might play nice, relaxed songs that your guests can enjoy with a good cup of coffee and a piece of cake. In the evening, the music puts people in a real party mood. After all, music in hospitality sets the tone for the atmosphere in the room. Backsound’s music systems come with a Music Planner. If you use a relaxed playlist in the afternoon and a playlist with cheerful pop music in the evening, the Music Planner lets you set the time at which they switch over. This makes it possible to play certain music at a specific time and on a day planned in advance. So you don’t have to think about it yourself while you are working in the pub!

Playing requests

Do guests regularly come up to you asking for a particular song? That is no problem for Backsound’s music systems. Guests can download the free Backsound Request App from the app store. Here you simply look up the song your guests have requested. At the push of a button you then send it on to the music system. That is how we provide hospitality music that is always tailored to your guests’ wishes.

Always the latest hits

Of course, it is important that the latest hits your guests want to hear are available. That is why you can choose a daily, weekly or monthly update of your playlists. On the Backsound homepage you can indicate which genres you want to receive updates for. That way you never receive recommendations that do not suit music in hospitality. You decide yourself whether you want to be notified daily, weekly or monthly that new music is ready. You can then download it to your computer at the push of a button. It is also possible to submit requests for new music. These will then arrive on your music computer within one working day.
