Years of music experience at Backsound

Backsound has been active as a supplier of music computers for many years. Not only are they of very high quality, we also offer them at a surprisingly low price. Because we develop our products ourselves, we can always respond perfectly to (music) questions from the market. Our most recent development is the iBacksound app. With this app you can turn your smartphone or iPad into a kind of remote control for the music computer in your canteen. That is of course extremely handy when you are busy and want to change the music in the canteen quickly.

Music in the canteen with Backsound

Of course, no canteen is complete without music. It instantly creates a certain atmosphere. With a Backsound music computer in your canteen, there is always pleasant background music playing. Something to celebrate? Then you have access to the best party music in no time. After all, Backsound offers millions of songs from as many as a hundred different genres. So there is always a record that matches the mood in the canteen perfectly.

Song requests

After winning an important match, the top scorer's favourite song has to be played, of course! The Backsound Request app makes requesting songs easy. You download this app to your phone. When someone wants to hear a particular record, you simply look it up with the handy search system. At the push of a button the song is sent to the music system. So you don't even have to sort it out on the music computer in your canteen.

The very best songs

To play the right music in the canteen, it is of course important that the right song is available. As mentioned, Backsound's music systems have a large selection. This selection is also constantly updated. You can indicate which genres you are interested in, and then receive a message about them daily, weekly or monthly, as you prefer. Would you like to add a song to a playlist? You do that at the push of a button. The song is then put on the music computer in your canteen. Use the handy search system to look for a specific song. If the song you are looking for is not available, you can, as it were, put in a request with us. It will then be on your music system within one working day.

Music rights in the canteen

When you play music in a public space, such as a canteen, the creators receive a fee for it. This goes through Buma and Sena: composers, lyricists and music publishers are paid by Buma, and Sena pays musicians and producers. Backsound supplies music with a business licence. Your club arranges the Buma/Sena licence for public performance itself, easily via mijnlicentie.nl; it is not included in the subscription.
